What is Greek Life all about?

Greek life is more than what you may think! We thrive in academics, raising money for our philanthropy, and building a social life with our fellow Greek members!

ACADEMICS

The Greek community here at Cleveland State University and in general hold academics to a very high standard. Each chapter has a GPA requirement in order to maintain membership. Each organization requires study hours to be completed and offer support through sisters with the same or similar majors. Though it may be intimidating to balance school work and be a part of a sorority, sisters are great study partners. As a Greek member, Order of Omega is another organization that juniors and seniors can become a part of if their academics reflect. Grab a sister and start studying!

PHILANTHROPY

Service and philanthropy are at the core of Greek Life. Each chapter has a specific philanthropy that they serve as well as the community in general. Each chapter requires members to complete a certain number of service hours per academic year. We strive to give back to our community and enrich campus life in as many ways as possible. Raising money to make a difference is special to each chapter.

SOCIAL LIFE

"It's not just for four years, it's for life." Greek Life offers friendships and connections that will last a lifetime. It offers support throughout your college years and creates outstanding networking opportunities and real-world experiences. Not only do we share bonds with our sisters but we strive to build relationships within the entire Greek community. We accomplish this through mixers with other Greek chapters, holding Greek Week, and finding any time to hang with our sisters!
